a word of warning

yes mebys shud not have sed that it just rubs me the wrong way i am a fisher man and we only take a small amount in the nets we put out we have to make a living just like u think he is a canny bloke just did not like that post

I seen it myself, canny viewing I thought. But that scheme they've got in some communities, is it not the same sort of idea as when the wet fish van used to come down the street many years ago as I remember as a kid.

a remember the vans gord, wen the mothers were buying there fish u used to pinch the willicks and prawns from the front cold shelve . ! . enjoyed the crack, different oppinions from both sides of the fence (net) well done lads, thats wat it`s all about.

Yeh mate, I just couldn't wait for it coming and like yer say yer mar was out there buying the fish for the tea, I was just fascinated at looking at the different kinds of fish lying on the trays. I think that's what inspired me to get into sea angling. Happy days:D:D

they havent had a cod for six months,and they are just waiting for you or me to post that we have caught fish and they will be there like a shot and net the flipping lot:(

i would have to say it puzzles me that they cant work it out for themselves:confused: ie that fash come aboot april for a while:exclam:

i suggest put a blackout on all posting of catches and lets see what those nasty people with nets do,when they have to think for themselves:D:D:D

dunc,im not convinced that this happens too much,as its rare to put an exact location when your out on the boat,and if your wrecking,then the lads wont net the wrecks due to the financial set backs that theyll incur.......but our forum is invite only,so the problem(if there is one)has been eliminated:)
 
it just boils down to people being jealous they cant catch as many as the netter lol

if this were about beam trawlers i would have my pitchfork out too...but the local nets have got to make a living..yes i disagree with having your nets so close for the Bass...but then they could say well..your not allowed to cast X amount of distance to leave us to net in peace.

as for the blackout bit i was having a right old chuckle about that!...if i try and fish somehwere and there is nets...i just move elsewhere, the sea is certainly big enough for us all.
