This must have been covered before but where can I get inshore wreck locations ie Lat & longs for the north east area for my kayak fishing ? I have navtronics on my phone but it'll kill the battery mega quick

Thanks in advance

c'mon lads, knowing where the wrecks are is no secret, the positions are clearly marked and more accurate on GPS systems than any of the lists of lat longs I have. The seret is knowing which one, at which time, is holding the fish ........

beano, if you have an up to date GPS Plotter it will have wrecks already marked .... these are super accurate .... good luck mate.

Is that "navionoics" ? If so it's as good as a chart plotter on your iphone and like Norman says the wrecks are all marked on there , how many are within kayak distance though I wouldn't like to say. If you want to save a bit of time with wrecks, have a look at the "wreck site" it'll tell you which ones are "live" which means they are still there and which ones are "dead" which means the sea bed has devoured them, there are a few wreck marks on the charts that were wooden ships etc that have disintegrated and even though they are still marked there is actually nothing or very little there.
The wreck site tells you where they are what they are how big they are what state of decay they are in what type of sea bed they are on and a whole lot more , it doesn't tell you if there are fish on them though unfortunately

off topic a little if you want to be sure a wreck is live, put an 8/0 treble on your ripper:D:D:D,if the wreck grabs it,its live:exclam::exclam:

I've got navionics on my phone aswell, the wreck locations are spot on.

Just copy the lat/long numbers onto your gps/ plotter.

Don't forget to try out the ground features aswell as the wrecks / obstacles.
