Yes mine came from Newquay and had spent most of its life in Southampton.

There's more choice down south, so the prices are more competitive, always worth the travel to save a couple of grand....

Mind the transport up is between £800 and £1200 so that needs adding onto the price of a boat purchsed in the south.

I was on about smaller trailered boats Rich, but even the bigger ones are cheaper including the transport costs, it cost £500 for my M/F to be brought up from Essex..

If any help the boat it a pilot cavalier mk2 I nearly bought one 9 years ago but got beat last min however my mate owned one hence why I was going to get it they are cracking boats with high free board and plenty of deck space only down side is not very wide very simular to a seahog hunter but sit higher in the water that looks a canny project but will need a canny bit cash thrown at it good luck
Well lads went down the day to have a look at it.pictures dont do it justice.first of all its listing to one side.second it is very low in the water.only one engine,the other must of been taken away.quite long.good lenth,but very nsrrow.looks as though quite a bit money needed to bring it up to scratch.suppose worth the money hes asking for it.not for me though.would have to get a trailer on top of that.guess keep looking till i find one that suits me and the boy..thanks again everyone for help and advice.be in touch.hope i find one before next year but.patience is a virtue.cheers all.

It took me 9 months to pick one i wanted that i could afford. I have been looking at upgrading for 2 years now but finding it hard to part with mine...may look at changing in September still who knows.
You have laods of tiem until the season starts, really its erly May before it kicks off, late March and early April is hit and miss, some years its dead some years they jumping in the boat.

Easyfish about 3 grand all in.thinging though of going to a boat trader and getting finance,then i will be able to gey a better and bigger a d hopefully safer.not sure ,heard of different people, dont go to a brokerage unless u already know what u want.jester thanks for the offer mate.

You should take a look at Moonfleet Angling in Felling mate, Plenty of boats on show and for sale in there at a much lower price than a lot of 2nd hand boats that are available.

Arrr yer it was a great looking boat i remember now, not seen you out since thou i dont fish around Sunderland much now, as too many boats on the wrecks just north and south of the Wear.

Got new venues with little or no traffic so suits us well. Good hard marks and reefs if you look for them. Look out for you next year and if you would like to sample a cat let me know, perhaps you might like one!. Seasonal greetings to you and yours.
