Hi,

Does anyone know if Amble has any charter boats running? I'm looking to get out on Sunday coming as I have a day pass from the wife as we are having a week in Creswell

Yeah boat is basically sorted.. had a couple of trips but mainly making sure the engine is working 100%

I'll be taking the gearbox back off to drill out some screws where the heads snapped off to re-house the cover on the impeller.. fun and games

Next job will be to get the boat out of the water.. already upgraded the car to a freelander and had the towbar fitted, need to buy a second hand trailer then the real fun begins with giving it a good clean and adding a wood beam down the side to stop the water running in and flooding the deck while it's sitting in harbour... never bloody ends lol

Just off to Creswell for a week on Saturday with the wife and little one so missus give me a pass for 1 whole day fishing.. either on a charter or off the beach, would prefer the boat as don't have to take the larger rods etc

How is your boat, all finished and looking good?

yeah got the new hog, then fixed and painted it up its currently in the marina on my mooring, happy with it as its more practical than the old one and a bit more comfortable.
