Just wondered who\'s fishing the Amble Open this Sunday ,hope to see a few faces at the weigh in ,I was at the weigh in last year as well beer was great even though I was bereft if piscatorial friends to facilitate a victory!!

I will be there in my capacity as ace sleuth, well i can live in hope anyway. If i am not to bust taking pics make yasells known

Anyone know what the boundaries are for this comp.

Had fancied a trip up to Beadnell but I have a feeling it\'s going to be heaving everywhere.

Ian the boundaries are : NORTH ,the south side of Seahouses Harbour and SOUTH ,Lynemouth pipe, excluding Amble pier all jetties in the river Coquet and river Aln.

Steve I have secret weapon for Sunday ,comprises of old crabs (from last session ) squid (smelly) prawns , and mackerel guts , in food blender ,came out looging like a cow pat but must try stuffing fresh squid with it , just another of my exotic baits, oh bugga its not a secret now , I didnt know your friends were piscatorial , mine are church of England mel

Have you got a secret mark in mind like Ian ,a lad at work last year said him and his mate had a secret place and they would bag up , when I asked how he got on and how his secret place was he said it was chocka block lol , all those blokes must have been really lucky to find it on the day of the comp eh!!!

Nah Steve....wasn\'t planning on fishing the comp just fancied a few quiet hours out that\'s all.

Not gonna happen unless I go further north, or maybe try in the river

Well lads hope to see some of you at the weigh in ,even if I\'m just having a pint and watching the winners collect their prizes like I did last year.
