Hope you all have better days than we had today. Tried everything today and all we had was one pleggy. would not bother with the pirks unless you go way off as the water today was still murky from the last blow. Tried uptide, pirking, shads, prawn, mussel, rag, squid, mackeral, various lures, long flowing traces, inshore, several wrecks and nothing not a sausage.

Still better than being at work though.

out for four hours today, tried all sorts of bait - lug mackeral razorfish (even some ham from my own bait) not even a knock. never mind, i'll do it all over again in the morning. had no success south of the wear so going to have a look northwards tomorrow
