if you were there in a match and had done that, and i was there i would lend you some rigs or give ya the gear to build ya own mate, am good like that

And that's exactly what some mates did for me on that day, lended me some rigs, cannot remember there names as there were a few on the pier that day, but am sure two of em were d-a and waco, but big thanks again to all of them, great pals, couldn't ask for better. :red:

thats the way to be mate, helpful, as you never know when you may need someones help, thats the way i look at it

I was in such a hurry to get fishing at lynmouth on Saturday I left my rucksack beside my car! I dropped my jacket off and ran all the way back for the bugger, when I got there a car stopped and two lads asked if I'd caught owt! Sometimes youve got no chance have you! :casstet:

LOL, I tried a few of those ebay hooks to and noticably they like to go 'ping'... snapping in ya hands when tying them on or when snagged.

A can guarentee u they went straight in the bin (though a broke the rest of em so they wernt a danger in the rubbish .)

Once walked the long walk from newbiggin church point to the beacons got al set up to realise i had left the bait bucket in the car so nearly an hour later got back to the beacons to catch a 4 lb cod on my first chuck so not al bad

I was out on my dads coble about 30 years ago,along with teo of me dads mates who were in there 50's.The sea was a bit choppy but were catching fish.One of the old boys was spewing his guts up and was that bad his false teeth shot out much to the amusement to the rest of us.His mate wanting to have a joke with him pulled in a cod of about 4lb,proceeded to take his own set of teeth out and place them in the fishes mouth exclaiming''would you believe it this fish has got your false teeth in its mouth,have a look'' the still seasick bloke looked up saw the teeth took them out of the fishes mouth wased them with hot water from his flask and popped them in his mouth.The next thing hes got them in his hand saying''no there not my teeth they dont fit'' and promptly threw the teeth over the side of the boat.My dad and me were in fits laughing at the sight of the two old boys both sucking their gums.
Till this day i dont know in the bloke knew his mate was taking the p... or weather he genuinely thought they were someone elses.Funniest thing Ive ever seen while fishing!
