Anybody Heard of any cod being coaught off blyth pier???

Hi just wonderind if any body knows if theres any cod being caught off the pier this week??? thanks...

iv heard of loads of cod over the last 7 days 19lb 16lb a few 10lbers and a load around 4lb but you only seem to get them 30mins b4 either low or high water and about 15mins after but in beetwen then thay come thick and fast and 4 some reason the main of them just from around the end of the pier.Im out tonight at blyth pier so hopfully theres still gana be some about i wouldnt mind a 19lber

Blyth pier has certainly been fishing well, the 19lber and 17lber where caught within a few hours of each other

Went down today, got there 7am and there were already 8 rods on the the end. Fished about 20 yards from the gate and over the next 7 hours never got a bite. When I left there were 25 rod out and the total catch in that time was 5 fish, with the biggest being 2ib. So it ain\'t fishing that well.

Dead right Alan. That pier can give you the best and the worst in any two sessions that you care to fish. I have had good catches at all states of the tide and also blanked at all states of the tide.

When you read a catch report it was always fishing well YESTERDAY lol,so Alan Charlton and Jim are right,it is not a consistant mark but will chuck big fish out now and again plus its safe and easy fishing and always produces smaller fish ie Whiting and Coley\'s
