just heard of a new model from anyfishanywere rod maker it is called the clubman and there is another called the clubman plus.
anyone got any info on these.

just been on there web site but dos,nt tell you much.

any of these top of the range shambrooke rods are brilliant john for the price, the tournament match being the best rod in its class out there imho

Don't know where you're based mate, but I think Lewis Tackle in Whitley Bay have got a couple of the clubman rods in - they strike me as being very good for the money! I've got a few of the AFAW red rods & quite agree about the Tourney Match - it's an absolute belter!!

Cheers, Gary :)

hi what are the afaw red rods.

just read up about clubmans rods they are advertised on ebay.

i have tried the tourney rock rod only once out and it just casts itself quite like it. i wunder if tourny match tip fits tourny rock butt

I found this description on ebay i dont know if it helps
New 13’ 6” Clubman PLUS

The PLUS version of the Clubman is a slightly upgraded version designed for more northern beaches and marks where the local terrain can play a very active role in the fishing situation. Again, think big baits, big kelp and even bigger cold! The Clubman PLUS give you masses of usable power where you need it and should help any club angler catch more cod this winter

:)

Hi mate, the red rods are finished with red trim on the whippings, as opposed to the 2/4/6 & Bait series which have blue trim. Offhand I can't remember what colour the Clubmans (or should that be Clubmen?:D) are finished with. I'm also not too sure what kind of fishing they're aimed at, ie. beaches/mixed/rough ground. At least with the red rods the clue is in their name!

Gary :)
