just tidying up the box from the last trip out and remembered that on the last trip I pulled this out of the water "as is"

I wonder if anyone recognises it?

:D

Yep I'd be amazed if that wasn't manufactured in my shed.

Just had a quick melt with the Bullfinch burner / furnace I bought on BSA, crikey!! it's scary!!

It was caught in the locale of where the 2 boats have been fishing for a few weeks so I'd be very surpirsed if it wasn't a Brown Fast Drop Special :D

I noticed you went in quick for that - any good? is it as quick as it says?

My pan is it a bit small for it and it would just eat a non cast iron pan.

I think it may get the lead too hot too quickly for my liking but I haven't played with the settings yet.

0f course the bit Tony forgot to mention was his comment on the retrieve "shh but I think its a big un, maybe a double .... " :)

I had it connected to a 2 bar regulator maybe I should try it with the one it came with :red:[/QUOTE]

your only meant to melt the lead not boil the ruddy stuff

pretty big this morning jason :o (although it was rather dark to see exactly)... so we decided not to suffer, will have a look again tomorrow morning :)
