this place has got to be one, if not the most dangerous fishing spots in the northeast,god be with the lads family.another dangerous place to warn lads chanceing there luck is crag point at seaton sluice.

Very sad news,just shows how easily these things can happen. It is a terrible wake upcall for everybody to "fish safe" and never take even the slightest risk.
a terrible piece of news, just goes to show how vunrable we can all be from time to time doing the thing we love best. deepest sympathy to all of this gentlemans family and a reminder of thanks to all those people within the rescue services. very sad day indeed bri.
