I'd agree with that, its boring, no real characters left, even though you don't know your left from your right politically wise bigphil
That said It's still a safe and friendly site, with some immensely knowledgeable, and articulate fishermen here, no doubt about that
Normans boat reports were the highlight for me, top class.
Non fishing chat used to be really "lively", now it appears to go days without new threads, mainly just kayos, codqueen and reg who post regularly (reg is a good lad, apart from being a mackem like)
and kayos forgot remembrance day
ffs and reckons a british marine was a murderer , no better than "so called terrorists"not really my type of crack / banter, still a good site though and im sure it will improve when the fishing (and football) improves

It takes time and effort to write a good report
Forums are better than FaceBook for that reason
I don't use FB for hobby purposes and I don't rate FB "forums" as they are generally low quality and under moderated
This place is hardly over moderated when you only have one mod that chips in and keeps things moving along
Some of the ooomf has gone from the site I agree...people are afraid to engage in articulate conversation and debate because more often than not the argument gets personal when someone disagrees
Roll on the Spring
