Best place you've ever fished (UK shore)

Hi all:)
was just remembering the best shore fishing i ever had:)
it was in illfracoome in devon nice little fishing village and they've got a pier
that if you want to fish you have to put a £5 deposit down at the local tackle shop and you get a key to get on the fishing side of it!
anyways was float fishing with sandeels catching maki and garfish and pollock:D was keep sending ma dad back and forwards for bait it was that good excellent sport it was:D:D
anybody got any good ones:confused:
 
MULL OF GALLOWAY. with out a shadow of a doubt. On my annual trip there lats year with sigsy, we got down to our chosen mark, he was setting up a float I jokingly said "I'll have a fish in before you get that setup" as I clipped on a 28g Zenith, cast 1,2,3,4 fish on. Quick pic, text to Carl who had missed the trip to go to Canada with his lass, just managed to get it sent before he borded the plan lol. We had to leave the mark because we were knackered from pulling them in. 13 weeks and counting we'll be back on the same rock doing it again.

Ill put money on many of the lads on here having similar stories, is a favourite with lads up here.
 
The Mull for me, about 10 year ago though.
Used to take some really big pollock and huge congers, along with bass and huss and when the sun is out cant think of a better place to fish.
The place seems to be fished out now, although plenty of smaller fish to be had.
 
west coast for me port logan had 100+fish in 1 day mental it was fish were pollok bass and wrass;)
 
1984, pembroke dock, wales, was boxing down there, so we stayed a few days, me and a couple lads bought some gear and wen`t down with some locals for congers. they put up a better fight than the welsh lads did. great days.
 
Balcarry bay,was over hung, badly:exclam: had to plod through farmers fields up hills down cliffs,was bad weather,I felt like I was at the end of the earth,a pal helping me carry me stuff managed to drop me bait box(dinner) off a cliff 200ft high,to say I was gutted would be an understatement :exclam::exclam::exclam:Any who, after me pal salvaged me bait(only after I threatened to Scran his) i set about fishing although I was scared for me life as it was rough as f@@k first cast ,30 secs later rod gets ripped of the stand= 2 dogfish for. 8lb,that carried on all day, odd thorn back couple congers and a KFC on the way home topped it off! Class day all round! .....went back couple month later n caught a single flattie lol,so if u go u want to go in conditions only a fool would fish in :cool::D
