better late than never

well after getting some gear sorted I decided to head out on sunday gone just for the sake of it to get out not to mention little man was on my case again so off out we headed to fish over high water
arrived at the hugh a couple hours before high and from the off I had whitie's steady all night wind had picked up a little fished it til midnight with a few more sized whities before it slowed down and went quiet and the wind had steadily picked up decided to pack up and head home with one very happy and one very tired young man
sunday just gone well the boy was pestering me to take him out again for a few hours fishing just so he could use the float
we arrived at about 2pm and fished til dark me scratching and him using the float...
with the tide well on the ebb I wasn't expecting much at all and I was right not a bite...for me as for the boy he had a few bites on the float and one very small pin whitie packed up just before it started getting dark with the sounds of "I beat you again" ringing in my ear....I aint heard the last of it now he wants to head out on Friday with me after work
all in all a couple of enjoyable short sessions out and well worth seeing a big grin on such a small face

lol,im sure ur not the 1st daz or the last who will get beat by the youngun,makes u wonder why we take them,as we never live it down,always nice tho to see the new bread of anglers coming through
