hell will be a bit chilly before the royal quays ever let me set foot in the place again!

It was ell that got the earful when he rang em today. Something I said on the blog a looong time ago when we wanted a berth in there but objected to the daft list of made up requirements despite it still going to cost us 4 grand year

think I mentioned the possibility that a historic wooden boat would obviously offend the gin swilling platforms that decorate the place. Never mentioned them by name, but someone must have pointed it out to them

not to worry though, plenty more fish in the sea and have heard a new marina on the Tyne is in the offing right on their doorstep. can see them losing quite a few punters when their monopoly vanishes

I would say it is looking alot more like it will be a go, the sea choppy at the moment but not a big swell, when that strong west/NW wind hits Friday (if they right) i can see a late start on Sat being a go and Sunday a defo go.

Going to take the boat 1/2 mile out Friday after work and drop anchor for the plaice sow ill get a good feel of the sea conditions then.

Just decided i am out both days..weather not going to be great but fishable...make final call when i am at sea Friday for a few hours.

It wont be a easy days fishing due to a fast drift and lazy swell but its one more weekend we will make it out to sea
