Just went back to fishing after a 30 year gap.
Bought some nice gear at Rutherfords for beach fishing.
Any thoughts of best spots near to sunderland.
What is the best fishing club to join ?
Best bait at the moment ?

Hello mate just got back fishing myself after 30 plus years break. This is now my third and best season. Biggest fish this season 7lb 2 oz cod and a couple of four pounders.
Don,t know about clubs but i have just joined Seaham.
Fish mostly off Steetly at Hartlepool.

Caught a couple of 1lb whities on friday night at Roker beach.
Never fished as far as Hartlepool, dont know any places their.
I was thinking of Seaham angling club, might see you their.
Might try Whitburn this friday night.
