Cut it in to 2" to 3" strips mate and tie inside some tights and whip on your hook with bait elastic, Best to use a pennel to stop it sliding down your hook, You can get packs of 3 pairs of tights at the £1 shop, Also when you take it fishing make sure you keep it in a flask to stop it thawing out

please remeber it is illegal at the present time to use cart/edible crab as bait north of the Tyne
Have tried a few ways. In armormesh you get a neat bait but it breaks down really quickly. Want to be re-casting every 10 mins. Big chunks wrapped in finger bandage give you maybe 15 to 20 mins. Cling film much the same depending on how many times you pierce it I guess. I like to use it in bandage and then wrap it up in frozen blacks. They pile into that with gusto if there are any fish there. Sometimes within minutes. 5/0 with a 2/0 circle just nipped in the top of the bandage and fully exposed. Obviously skip the pennel hook if fishing in thick kelp.
I make sausages with sausage skins from ebay and a boilie gun ( similar to a selastic/sealant gun) The sausage skin breaks down slowly but still leaks. I still refreeze and keep in a flask like this onethis keeps it frozen for a good 3 hours or longer if you put the whole flask in the freezer. ( leave the lid off though )

I just use a normal flask from B and M put it in at 5:30 am and was still frozen when I got home at 2 just stuck it back in the freezer for next time.

use tights/ mini tie wraps. pop them in a food flask and put that in a cool box.
I keep the flask and cool box in the bottom of my chest freezer all the time.
this way the bait stays rock solid frozen even on long sessions.
some tights too thin. try different deniers and you will soon learn whats the best one.
had some funny looks at the supermarket off the women when shopping for them

good idea with ty-wraps i've been using garden wire, bit fiddly but cheap.
