Used my c3ld in heavy ground all the time and it did fine. 7oz, big bait, easy. The tips by no means a match tip but it showed bites no problem.Through action yes, but a powerful through action. Brilliant all rounder.

Now theres a review from someone who knows what hes talking about.

have used one myself and i go along with what bob c and topbana says.

carbon rods probaly better at showing bites at distace i could tell dabs when using a tournament extreme yrs back but for short range fishing bendy tip probaly better.

may be wrong here as been a while since i have seen a ttld but i didnt think these had a fine tip which you could set tip over.
