Hello everyone, haven't been on much lately as never really had much to shout about. Anyway, I'm on here tonight more for a 'rant' than a 'rave'. Fishing all the usual haunts on the Shields and Souter clifftops, I've never come across so many 'undersize' Coalies, in all my nat. It's so bad I'm thinking about changing my name on these boards to "Tony Coalie". But amongst those Coalies I managed to pull out a one about 4 and a half, maybe things are looking up on the rocks at last.

I've seen 'Confucious', he and his entourage are always on the end of Shields pier all summer long, slaughtering the Mackerel. I'll have to ask him where the Coalies go to grow up.

was on johnsons lastnight same problem there bait was hardly touching bottom and the coalies were on it all undersize apart from 1.

I'm still knocking about Jamie, got nothing better to do, hope to be back at work mid November.
Anyway, me , Glocka and Hanna, fished the North Arm tonight, the results were as follows.

Me, 3 Coalies and an eel, 1 Coalie was sizeish

Glocka, 2 Coalies, and a 2 pound Cod, 1 Coalie was definately size

Hanna, Jack didley squat, he will persist with that "Ragworm and Squid"
