hi any one give me any information on fishing collywell rock marks .i have been told to fish beside deleval arms and over the little bridge into the kelp ? anyone help please

Think the pub should be the Kings Arms. Cross over the bridge to the left onto Rocky Island and turn right. Marks down there. Good luck and if you catch nought I can highly recommend Gills chippy just over the road from the social club (like fish n chips used to be ).

go there every time me and worr lass go down mother inlaws caravan have drove down got there and found it closed  tried others but not as nice

If you go directly behind the Kings Arms and down the little path you can get onto the rocks there to the right or left of the original old harbour entrance, had some canny fish out of there in the past but it's fairly snaggy. other options are into collywell bay onto the skeers there or further up at the top end of Sluice in the bay there.

If you cross over the little bridge away from the Kings Arms, follow the path until you come to the small fence. Step over that and you will see some large flattish rocks just to your right, follow the track that everyone uses to the bottom and walk straight on. These are known as the sumps, cast towards the lighthouse (Cambois pier) and vary your distance. If the sea is big do not fish this mark, it almost got me after I had watched it for ages before I walked on. Vary your casting distance and it is best fished over the turn of bottom water.

As for the chippy, I would never plan to get anything there as most times I pass it it is closed, seems to have no pattern to it at all lol. They don't even sell fishcakes when they do open, which SWMBO quite likes. I quite like the one at the north end of Blyth beach, not a big lover of battered fish but I find there batter always crispy and the fish very tasty.

some good advice mate, but none have told you wherer to fish Collywell, the marks mentioned are all seaton sluice. Turn in past the club, and follow road round past Kings Head, until you come to a ramp on your left, that ramp will take you to Charlies Garden etc, further along is middle skeer. Drive further along and down the ramp at the south end and follow the rocks out you will come to the round rocks. Best thing to do is go during daylight at low water on a decnt tide and you will see where you have to cast. You can fish the first ramp at hw and also cast along side the round rocksd at hw. Fish the rest around LW, some nice big thick weed beds that nearly always hold fish.

to be honest never used it, I always go to the waterfront on the quay, itys a bit nearer to our house. But if I am ever out and out with those recommendations I might give it a go.
