Nice fish had a walk along the pier today with the kids hopefully fishing picked up ;-) looks like a good club and match

they go into double figures peter,most are caught foulhooked os washed up on the beach,or found in rock pools were they lay there eggs they come into shallow water ,most clubs don't weigh them in. the fish weighed 1.15.0.. they are usualy black or grey. there was a big one caught on s/spier last year. davy.

i had 1 from west bay about 7-8 years ago now weighed 3 1/2lb took a fresh crab bait & also had a rock stuck 2 it i thought i had a good fish. a m8 of mine has also had 1 from west bay with a rock stuck 2 it , that was a while back 2.

foul hooked a couple from the pier,but this one took crab right down went back alive. it was just the colour never seen a red one before. davy.
