newton,craster,seahouses, beadnell,eyemouth,should be picking up now we have a bit of warm weather aqnd the crabs beginning to peel. davy.
I'd stick to the beaches and rivers for a few more weeks yet. The nice weather marks the start to the season but 'one swallow doesnt make a summer'! The cod shoulld be back by next month. I blanked at Seahouses today and I tried everywhere! Try Alnmouth estuary and Walkworth beach. Might even be a chance of the odd turbot or bass!
