Sarah jfk 07808 684358 alan skinner
Mistress 07743 062163 tony
Both from the tyne and very good skippers

Well i know i am on the wreck all the time as i lose so much gear, i think some of the wrecks i fish are now just a pile of leads and pirks :)

thats the main reason we knew he was not getting the drift right and not up to scratch as a skipper. Like i said hardly anyone got stuck on the full boat!!! Hopefully through this post people get the point and save themselfs the hassel of a rubbish days fishing, crap craic and a waste of £40 or so, which is a fair lump to be ripped off.

I have a great nack of finding wrecks, ask deano or any other boat within a 5 mile radius, they could probably hear me and my loud shouts in angst as i hook myself up on the wreck time and time again, while deano pulls in the bigg'uns.

Hi guys, am so glad i joined this forum.
have been trying to get a boat booked for 3 novice's and have emailed this boat for booking 29th sept. after reading this post i'm having more than second doubts. looks like we just saved £120 between us

sounds like this boat is a joke i had few boats and my grandkids could put you over wreks wen on mine shows all wreks zoom in on which ever one you looking at job done piece cake .you should lost load gear also everyone knows this .if you could see wreck on sounder probs was on demo mode .o.

Thanks for the info re Diablo.
I go out with douggie and hs lads from Craster regularly. Nee wrecks just drifting over hard (lead grabbing rocks). No monster fish but lovely spring runners.
Also been on TJ Gannet and cracking skipper.
Suppose the motto of the the story is stick with reliable skippers and boats.
Mick.

Paying up front would set alarm bells off straight away with me. They were told they would be on a 7 mile run wreck fishing. Is it 7 miles from wherever the boat is moored, to St Mary's:rolleyes:
Not sure where you actually fished, but obviously not hard ground, as very little tackle loss.
I fished till 2pm on Sunday from 8am, and the sea was never rough, in fact quite calm at times as the breeze dropped to 1-2mph, untill a southerly wind picked up fresh at 2pm, so untill then, no reason not to be trying for wrecks. I know it's easy to miss the wreck on a few drifts, but not to hit it at all is either down to poor skipper, or there is no wreck anywhere near the boat, so again, poor skipper.
Well, I have to say I am totally with Rutland on this one and has been ripped off.:(

Hi John, and welcome to NESA. Joining this forum has already been beneficial to you. Hope you get booked on a good boat soon. Take head of what the long time members on here advise on charter boats, and you wont go wrong.

have asked the originator of this thread by PM to tell me the skippers name, as I have known Shane for a long time and have been down to take photos of good catches from his boat, just wondering if the boat has changed hands.

Hey charlton, i was on the boat at the time of this, and "rutlands" friend, he is away for work/merchant navy training. Also not on the forum much at all, just a quick brows every now and then.

I cant remember the name of the skipper, but dont think it was shane. Two youngish lads where "in charge" one a fairly thick set lad, the other, taller and slender who liked to talk the talk. Had alot of tattoos. I think he was kind of into his carp fishing.

cheers mate, neither of those is Shane, he is a cracking skipper and knows the area and marks well, wrecks, reefs, rocky ground.
