digital cameras

im going to buy one soon can anyone give me a few tips on them ,the first being performance v cost as some of the spots i fish i dont even take my phone as i fish standing in waterfrom ankles to waist deep.but with good if uncomfortable fishing.cheers.
seen some good pics on here so thought id ask.
no i never caught a digital camera can it be moved please

pentax wpi,its 6 million pixels and can be used underwater,ive just bought one and it it the dogs bollocks

Sounds impressive!

Must admit I like the quality of Fuji\'s but the fact that it is water (and salt) proof is a big bonus. My fuji is playing up at the minute - draining batteries very fast - and I think that it\'s because salt has got into it from all the photo\'s I\'ve take for my website. Will bare that one in mind.
