does anybody know who this angler is, I need a name and a contact number if possible. When I get the info I need I will post the full photo (you want to see the fish he is holding) sent to me kindly by Darren Wardle who took the photo on South Shields pier.

its a big plaice he is holding, caught at the first gate on south shields pier.

Polaroid do them , foster grant do them both full uva protection and polarised

most glasses shops should have them , chemists might (got my last pair in a chemists )

no problem cod seeker, but you could always go and relieve Darren, he is taking a tent and sleeping bag down to the pier until he turns up again. You could always work shifts.

you will not believe this, have just spoken to his daughter, the bloke fishing beside him, who he had been talking too all day wanted to buy the fish from him, but it was the best fish plaice he had caught and wanted to keep it for his grandbairns. when he turned his back the bloke took it out his bag and legged it along the pier. Keep an eye out for anybody saying they caught a big plaice.
