Do you know this angler

just spoke to the lad himself, as there where a few other people around he dosnt want to cast dispertions on the angler beside him.

Dispersion

The separation by refraction of light or other radiation into individual components of different wavelengths. Dispersion results in most materials because a material's index of refraction depends on the wavelength of the radiation passing through it; thus different wavelengths entering a material along the same path will fan out into different paths within it. Prisms, for example, diffuse white light (which contains an even mixture of visible wavelengths) into its variously colored components; rainbows are an effect of dispersion in water droplets.

Maybe the the "Plaice Pincher" was from an episode of Docter Who ,and the true identity will be in the New series at Christmas

But i wouldnt want to cast any aspersions

The Pier is getting stranger by the day :red:

What would happen if i posted it? Alan you did say once you found out the name you would post complete pic.

If i can remember how to post photos then i will do it myself, probably tommorrow or even sooner.

When I took the job, i signed an agreement that any info in the article i wrote I would not have used anywhere else, you may not have such an agreement. And I might not want to anyway, like a certain big pollock that was caught, we haven't seen that yet. If you posted photo now, then everybody would see plaice. Did you get result of Bob White match off board, Steve Williams of Jarrow won, if you want a photo let me know I dont mind giving info.

cheers Terry, what a cracking pollock, hope you have sent photo to angling mags, it deserves to be seen by more than just a few anglers.
