Went for a walk on Druridge Bay this morning (11:30) wind is howling and there\'s on-off icey rain... took a couple of pics of the sea state for the board:
hah, just realised i dated the pics the 12th.. doh!
to reach that gutter in front of the sand bar on your second picture you need to cast 95 yards from the high water mark. When the tide is about 3 hours down you can wade out onto the bar then fish in front of it. There have been quite a few fish caught here this winter even in calm seas.
Magic, cheers for the info... next time i\'m heading out for a coulpe of hours i\'ll give it a bash. Spent a lot of time up there in the summer with the kids, nice clean quiet beach...
