anyone know owt about them??

we've got one, 7.5kw D5LC but its not working. was fitted new 2 years ago and I suspect wasn't fitted right or fisnished off

anything to look for/known issues??

might be nice to have some heating for the long dark nights ahead!

Hello Mark,
Eberspacher is the dogs ballerics of diesel heaters. Usually fitted to upper end motor homes and artic sleeper cab units. Just like a little Boiler, purge fan, ignition unit and spray nozzle. auto ignition and temperature controlled. Run for years apart from jet cleaning. Make sure there is diesel getting to it and the purge fan runs for a few seconds before iginition starts. Fairly quite when running and loads of heat. Exhaust vent must be clear.Might need bleeding.

will have a look at it Mark when the boat gets down here, theres not a great deal to them, i fitted a new one in sacha a few years ago....main agents are in sunderland

download all the installation, fault finding manuals etc for it, but have a suspicion it might be just 'wrong'

the wiring is a bit of a rats nest for it, theres a remote 7 day timer controller, so maybe just needs doing right

was shocked at how much these things cost!!
