Just deleted a few threads which you'd think had been posted by a group of infant school kids.

Please keep your petty arguments off this forum.

Like I keep saying if something is posted or sent to you via pm on here which you feel is against the rules or you find insulting press the "report post" button.

There has been some personal insults flying around, banter is one thing but resorting personal insults WILL get you banned.

Seems simple to me. This is a fishing forum and that's what it should be about. There are plenty of football forums where people can wum and abuse to their hearts content. People are antagonising and getting antagonised over stuff thats nowt to do with fishing, and the daft thing is if they didn't know and met on the beach it wouldn't be a problem. But once you bring the tribalism and petty schoolyard insults of the terraces into it it soon becomes one.

Ban football related threads / posts from the forum (or all sport other than fishing if you must) and let everyone concentrate on the most important thing - the fishing. Maybe just my opinion but this forum would be all the better for it
 
I take your point Stewart, but some members can have some genuine craic about football without posting rubbish in order to try and get a bite.
 
I have to agree i would of shut down the chat section ages ago but then you run the risk of that rubbish getting into the fishing sections...catch 22...it will soon be xmas and everyone will be merry :)
 
100% agree keith its not on at all!
i joined a "FISHING" forum!! at the end of the day and if i want to have a verbal barny with someone i will see the wife instead lol!!

I know,let's have a dedicated abuse page,so you know what to expect,
and keep the chat pages for "hullo,i say,bit of a chill in the air,expect
those darling Swallows,will be off to Africa now,toodle pip".:D:D:D:D
 
I've took the "p" as much as any, but nowt serious!

But when people start to post personal insults, it gets a bit pathetic.

No one will agree on everything, and as Ive said before, Ive seen plenty of worse threads when people go on about zziplex or century etc, its not just about football.
 
I think the NON FISHING section is a credit to nesa admin,
also the fact most of us are still here is a credit to mods.
Maybe if anyone dont like the chat section, admin could remove it from you seeing it.
Of course there will be the odd fall out, but as grown men !!

i value the non fishing section, long may it continue........................

EH? The only thing i learned from you was thievin.When i was into evo stick,you took advantage of my vulnerability,and had me thievin claithes off the lines for
you to sell to the poor up Shiney raw or pensher,who only had coal bags to
wear (everybody).Remember when you got scattered outa Camrex house,for
being mankey?You got accepted as a refugee up trampland where you are now,because you blended in well. Or what about that time missus plum was
on that six month 'holiday',and ye had to look after ten bairns.Ya wide all
the piping n cable in outa the kip cos the bairns needed new school uniforms.
400 notes ye got,plenty to rig them out decent,but no,cos ya daft mate at
the army surplus store sorts ya out with cheap swag,ya managed to tog
them out with uniforms for 200 quid,leavin yay 200 for drink....Backfired
though didn't it? They got sent home for coming ta school dressed as
Japanese soldiers....The gear i took outa ya shed? The Angling for Orphans
Society,i RETURNED it to,were overjoyed,as they thought they'd never see it again,after it was taken from their minibus.Oh,and regarding the two step,
i copied that off a looper down the prom.I thought i'd be able to get 300
yards,like he said ha was gettin,but it didn't work.A just got dizzy with all that
dancin about,and kept fallin ower.
Anymore lies about me,and there'll be plenty more truths revealed about
