hey all,

me and my mate are off up this way for a weekend sesh this weekend. just wondered if anyone else was heading up this way this weekend that wanted to meet up. we've been before but never caught anything. not too sure on marks to fish, thought a bit of experienced info might help us out a little. if anyone fancies it get in touch and we'll make arrangements.

cheers.

craig.

I'm sure you will get better info on marks, but we have fished Coldingham beach catching flatties. Also to the right of the bay is decent rocks. In Eyemouth behind the caravan park is a great flat rock into deep water. We had cod and pollok from there. .
There are many more marks, but most require a climb, which we have never fancied trying!

Good luck

if ya dont want a climb i wud try south side of eyemouth between the golf course follow the path then head north theres some easy accessable marks float fishing ,spinning and bottom fishing just find somewhere comfortable to fish the flatter the better the sea conditions ya shud get fish ragworm and crab but one or the other shud do ;)

ok, cheers for that.
nah, dont mind a /bit of a climb. last time we were there we fished the south rocks and then moved onto caravan pk. is the flat rock you mean just under the cannons? think we walked to far round before we realised we needed to be down there so we walked round to the opposite point looking onto it. st abbs never even been there so totally unsure. may try that on the sun.

Walk to back of the park, through the wooden gate, left along the path and as soon as you are past the perimeter fence it's straight down. Bit of a scramble, but if we can do it, anyone can!

Theres a few marks around the caravan park, the cannons is a narrow path which is about 50yrds from the cannons on the north side of the cliff theres a plank of wood of the grass the path is right beside it, the path goes to the left then swings to the right then it goes under the cliff face fish it low tide very heavy kelp, the next mark is hairy ness follow the path past the caravan park you will see hariy ness of the right when you go down the stone steps climb over the rocks on the left side its alittle longer but easyer you have to jump over the gully check the tides you can get cut off best 1 1/2 either side of low water cast towards the bouy into kelp for coddling and spin anywhere on here for mackeral and pollock coalie and someimes a few coddling on hte spinner, another mark is the big gully on the left which you will see on the way to hairyness. theres another mark before you go downt the concrete steps follow the path in the north if you look over the cliif theres a flat rock bellow you the path down is to the left of you very steep, aviod all the marks if its wet the rocks get very slippy, also take plenty sinkers very snaggy

cheers mark
