Many planning heading out Friday?

I have the day off so hoping to make it out..forecast is sw winds and sunny but that could and will change am sure lol

I've got Friday off and am hoping to get out from Sunderland, if the weather allows.

Yer Sat is looking the best day, depends if the sea drops off quick after the east winds tonight and Thursday...off for 4 days so would like at least 2 days at it.

I have just been down to Hendon and the sea still looks a bit choppy. May have a look tomorrow morning and decide then. What do you guys think?

Met office says Slight then smooth for next two days, its going wsw tonight so will sharpe drop off. I am out Friday and Sat with out a doubt, going to stay close in Friday but trying my luck 12-13 mile wrecks Sat...prob blank but worth a bash.

I don't sleep that well as some of you might know ( apart from last Saturday ) so early starts are fine by me .....sometimes

I had a bit of a sickner today. Had a look at the sea at Hendon first thing and it looked fine and the forcast said the sea would be slight to moderate so I picked up my boat and launched it from the slip at the marina. I got between the piers and just turned straight back round and re trailered my boat, not before getting a few facefulls of the sea water. I don't mind not being able to go out, but to launch and retrieve for nothing was a little galling.

We made it out today (see report) was not as flat as they stated but it was ok, dropping off all the time with that wind turning west again

Its a right bugger when you've went to all that bother its happened to me a couple of times and your left wondering why did I bother but you look forward all week to it so its hard not to be hell bent on it.
I know what you mean about the face full of sea Geoff no cabin on ours to deflect lol
