looking for somewhere to fish tomorrow from a beach for flatties, thinking of embleton or duridge bay, never fished there so any info and where to park ect would be great, also any other beaches worth a try,i live just up from tynemouth beach but dont here of anyone flattie fishing there

Embleton supposed to be good shot for flatties, 30 yrds out. Try Fish it at low tide, as I Fished it at High and didnt catch a thing..Lovely Beach, with a great view of Dunnstanbrough Castle...2 mins walk from the Car aswell...

GOODLUCK...;)

bottom off the stairs ,boiler, and barge bottom at tynemouth all throw out good flounders, plaice and odd bass. king eddys also for same species plus odd summer cod from rock marks .fish quay sands is fishing well for big flounders and plaice on high water they say home made booms are working there magic ,best off luck davy :red:

yes but lot s off anglers still fish there ,go on a warm high water night and you,ll see the top north east matchmen ,if you aproach them they will give you plenty off tips ,or just watch an learn davy :red:

Save the money on fuel and go localy there's meant to be a good surf on tomorow night, probably worth giving tynemouth beach a shot at dusk.

....or, if you do fancy the trip up to Druridge, park up behind the dunes North of Cresswell, dunk rag and mackie baits 10-30 yards out. Small flatties, tiny Turbot, Weevers and sometimes, just sometimes... a lovely bar of silver something else.:D
