floating on the island

this time I went over 2 hours before high water and stayed on till couple of hours after high water.much better depth of water and got a few fish plus had one snap me hook link.all the bites came from just off the point of the big rock ,I could see it just under the water and let the float drift just past the point and that's where the fish came from.had place to myself until the road over became crossable .met couple of lads off here from south shields and would think they will be putting a report up as one of them had a nice fish while I was chatting to them

about 16/18 ft ,you can catch the top of the kelp when your float drifts about.fishing about 30yrds out,you can see at low water where the kelp beds are and where the deeper parts are

A few fish for you matey nice one. I was one of the lads you were talking too we had a few tiddlers after you had left but nothing to get excited about. Next time I am going to try over high water. It was nice to meet you.
