Been staying in Chollerford for a couple of nights, then a trip to see my mam in Newcastle plus a trip to Morpeth so....

1 Sorry Ian for missing you in the shop AND forgetting the bl**dy calender. Will re-arrange it and put you an invoice in the post.

2 Thanks for the sweat top Paul. Looks really good, especially with the 3 inch high WINNERS on the back. Have all the north team got the same?

3 Alan Charlton - had a quick drive along the bamk top before coming home. Do you know what they\'re up to on Tynemouth beach, just north of the Half Way House (as was) ?

4 TC - Are we still able to hand in mobile phones for the RNLI? as I\'ve got a couple going spare.

There, up to date again.

Aye David, I understand that the mobile phone collection is an ongoing, long term thing with the RNLI.
You can pass them on to me at the NvS Comp if you like and I\'ll add them to any others I recieve before handing them over to Mike Charlton.

I could not think of a more fitting way to end the comp.

Just to see you scurrying to your cars with that on your back after being well and truly shafted by the WINNERS lol.

Can\'t wait pmsl.

Jim.

Hi Stores, funny you should mention that, i was driving along the top the other morning with the grandson, jcb\'s, diggers and two big dumper trucks. Well not going to miss that where we, the little fellow was straight along and asking the blokes what you doing. They had dug the bank out and linned it and where piling stones in. Except dumpers kept getting stuck. They are reinforcing the sand dunes to stop errosion, only thing is they are only doing a little bit. No doubt when, big tides, rough sea will soon get to work either side and wash the bank away.

What size stones Alan, and are they being left exposed.

My other pastime is playing with electric RC trucks and a big local rock pile would be handy
