it was not the powers that be that called them traps, it was those who helped Gav with his case. If you think the definition of a trap is to let a creature enter but not let them escape, crabs can and do enter and leave tyres or other collecting means as they wish, so they should not be called traps, they should be called shelters, so waco you have been calling them by the wrong name for 30 years, a bit less than I have been calling them traps, the differential in terminology was needed to be used for the case.

certainly not, I bet every other angler who uses traps, whoops sorry, shelters has been calling them traps all the time. So lads we now have to be PC and call them shelters, oh sorry dear I am just off to clean my shelters.

funny when anglers do anything untoward it is always in the papers, but try getting anything in the papers when they do something positive, i.e. charties etc, or found innocent of any charges, nothing appears. Bet if Gav had been found guilty bet it would have been in.
