geordies overboard documenrty ch4

I must admit they seem a good bunch of lads but its not looking good for them so far. Fingers crossed for them that they pull it out the bag sort themselves out

I know staff he's a good lad an he lives an breathes that lifeboat. Must admit it wasn't the greatest advert for em hope they turn it round next week. The gaffer seems a bit of a tit tho :)

Can see his point mick just don't think he puts himself across in a good light mate

Yes your right there I think because he is the be all and end all in his business world he has to look and be the same with the lads and boat I'm not saying its right or wrong but if the boat runs aswell as his business they'll not steer far wrong

Just hope this doesn't turn out to be one of these documentary that highlights all the negatives and no positives. Looking forward to the next installment tho

i lived with billy in a bed sit in blyth for 6 month, i dont know how he could go out on a call at night when he had drank 20 bottles of tuborg ea night lol.

Always a problem when you do this sort of show.
Plus the edit can make anyone appear to be anything the person doing the editing wants.
I know i have done it just to take the **** out of a mate and me for a boopers tape i put together :)

when there are lives at risk you dont want lads falling out with each otherdidnt portray them in a good light surprised the harbour master didnt have them in and knock there heads together. davy.

I watched the first program, and I must admit I cringed a bit. However I can't be too critical about these lads. Let's not forget : they're VOLUNTEERS. They don't get paid, and from my own point of view, I would rather have help of any sort, rather than none, should I get into difficulties out at sea.
If they were paid professionals, then maybe harsh criticism would be justified. However they would then receive far better and more intense training than they probably get as volunteers.
