had a few hours down at codgers today , not bad weather wise but a horrible fishing day windy at times but with the fresh water coming down the tyne bringing some rubbish with it i caught almost every thing else. twigs, branches, weed, plastic bags,and a 20'plus tree but no fish for me , however the grandaughter managed a nice flounder and was over the moon that she caught and i never and promptly told every one that passed and just about every one else she met on the way home also when her mam found out ,she immediatly posted it on facebook that i had been whupped by a 5 year old, still i taught her well lol

taken her a few times before adn once she blanked on fish but managed to pull six crab in at once on the same bait , should of been there as she was that excited nearly hysterical with delight as they fell off the hook and ended up scurrying around her she was not bothered that she caught no fish the excitment of the crab made her day, oh and the the small branch she pulled in a swell
the first time i took her fishing she had a flounder and a dab and i had nowt til the last cast on each rod and tied with her, really she won as was using only 1 rod to my 2
