I talk to the kids at school about the winter of 1963 and they don\'t believe me. We went to bed and got up to 3 feet of snow, alright only where it had drifted, but the \"beauty\" of it was that it then froze for weeks and I can remember sledging down our street for weeks because cars couldn\'t get there and the ploughs were otherwise engaged. This present cold snap may do a similar sort of thing but in a less severe way.
ps another Spanish holiday, plenty sun out of a biting northerly wind and STILL to see a fish caught off the rock ends (groynes really)
