ok members im after above for freezer.wheres the best place @ any idear of price to buy from.l know its a butchers shop before someone suggests it,or could it be from a local farmer. thanks in advance for any replies.ps,live in s/s,but willing to travel say upto 20miles.

depends what sorta pig you want! if you are just after any old porker, there's a few guys in the grainger will sell you half or whole pigs/lambs, butchered and un butchered

if you want something more 'farmy' our local abbatoir is the place, most of the local farmers slaughter their stock there as well as heaps of hobby farmers

Also if you buy a pig sum butchers will cull it for you for a small fee and a persentage of the meet or at least they used to 15 to 20 years back so my dad tells me lol
