I.D. Fishing closing

Like Alan said, Nothing to do with people using the net..All of us have bought fishing gear over the net at some point!!

Shame to see John shut up shop. All the lads from East End S.A.C wish him all the best on his retirement

shame about id I known john a lot of years wish him all the best in his retirement really nice bloke and just for the record I use all the tackle shops in my area and even further so to suggest id is closing down due to people using mail order is a bit harsh its the same all for tackle shops not just id

shame like, used to get me splashdowns from there. Good news for Frazers and Bagnall's though as they'll probs get most of the market share.

Was up there yesterday and John is selling everything off with 25% off. I bought a Sonik SK4 14ft for £150. There are hundreds of rods and reels, all must go.

I was in there yesterday and everything is now 50% off or even less. There's loads of line, lures, hooks, weights, rods, reels, waders and clothing still for sale. There must be lots of inventory in the stock room because the rod racks and shelves were constantly being replenished during the time I was there. It is my understanding that it's business as usual for the next few weeks and there's a fresh bait delivery on Tuesday. I guess the bait will be at the normal price but I noticed some quality brand names still on the shelves which will remain at 50% off until it's all gone. There's spinning rods at a tenner, Norwegian pirks at £2 each and boxes of 100 hooks for £2.50.
I ended up buying yet another rod I didn't need along with a host of stuff that I'll probably never get through if I live another 100 years.
