Is ss pier the most snaggiest place?

probably where you are fishing...
try fishing around the 44 mark towards the sea ( not into the harbour)
numbers are painted on the wall/ground
hope that helps

i mainly fish it for plaice , or in the winter with a good swell rolling

you do catch but not as productive as some of the other marks on the pier

you fishing there now ?
as im about to pop along ( will have helmet with me so easy to spot )

ard luck mate, think i might give it a miss, probably the reason i havent fished there for donkeys,

I'm on the pier tomorra to fish me club match.

I've fished the end of the pier many a time and had many all day snag free sessions. Mind u casting the distance does help avoid some of the rough stuff closer in.

As for me match I am determined to WIN!...:D
