Is ss pier the most snaggiest place?

Or am I just crap? Here now had 6 chucks and lost all 6 sets of gear. Not certain of the specific marks so just been going where others aren't but I think this is my downfall. Had a few decent bites but went to get thm nd snagged!

probably where you are fishing...
try fishing around the 44 mark towards the sea ( not into the harbour)
numbers are painted on the wall/ground

from the lifeboat hut to just after the gates it is snaggy realy close in to say the first 20yds but if your casting say 50 yds+ you should have no probs

if your using plain leads you may find its getting pushed into the rocks as the tides coming in

you do catch but not as productive as some of the other marks on the pier

I'm on the pier tomorra to fish me club match.

I've fished the end of the pier many a time and had many all day snag free sessions. Mind u casting the distance does help avoid some of the rough stuff closer in.

As for me match I am determined to WIN!...

i thought north of tyne were geordies south of tyne ie shields area sandancers but just wat i thought.

anyway weres the bounderies for mackems and sandancers.

getting back to shields piers best fishing mark in the north east i reckon its just a long walk to the end were i like to fish on the ebb on the south east corner.

anyone got one of them foldaway bikes they used to make yrs ago.
