Does anybody know if can still get onto concrete platform at the mouth of the don? Fished it years ago but dnt know if still accessible nowadays

You can but its a bit arkward which may put ya off, I just climb round the side of the fence and dont have any bother. If ya dont fancy climbing round it tho there is a grass bit you can fish just at the side of it and another little stone jetty just past the grassy part which is easy accesable

I fish it now and again,it's good spot and deep water Its easy enough to get on but there's a bit of bankside to the left if you don't fancy jetty

pretty hard to get onto oil jetty now as the way the have done the fence it extends round at both sides so do you climb round the fence.

Yes i just clamber round,not the prettiest site,last time I fished was just after the new year and had a good day,went down a few weeks ago but it was chokka with people fishing so I went to mill dam

well good to know people still fish it then. the climb round looks a bit dodgy tho.

I went to give it a try & as I was getting gear out of car the marine police pulled up & told me not to go through the fence as it would be trespassing they seem to patrol down by the don car park now

Ive seen the tunnel patrol down there couple of times,other than that I've never been botherd, me pal was down there all day sunday gone and never mentiond anything,al keep me eyes peeled next time I go
