And I can confirm there is a big, big sea running lads and lasses! Hoping to get down tonight or tomorrow with another lad off here, looking good. Bound to blank.

I know what you mean but got a mark at the bottom of North Shields pier in mind that I have been wanting to try in a big sea that should be quite sheltered. Just gonna chuck a big bait thirty yards into the bay and see what's about.

me and sidblank are gonna give it a go later at a sheltered spot fingers crossed. See if i can get a nice lunker like his saturday although it will definatley not be the same mark that he got it from ;)

that is sheltered the bay is clean ground might throw a few up was down there couple of hours ago and nice swells rolling in might be ok to fish tonight. good luck and stay safe in these conditions m8

just been down, sea absolutely massive, bit big for all but the most sheltered marks, far to big for Tynemouth Beach, and the way the wind is howling you probably wouldn't be able to cast far. Inside the pier sometimes fishines when it is like this, and maybe West Bay, but be careful. Personally would wait until it dies off a bit.

thats were me and sidblank are off too Alan west bay but not gonna take any chances mate;)

I had a drive down Whitburn today then to roker where I had me fish & chips. Was un-fishable with the wind plus sea was monstrous. Drove to Hendon prom and it was violent there. 3 lads pulled up to fish but turned round & went back the way they came. In my opinion I'd would be dangerous fishing in them conditions
