why is it that on the weekend that i decide to drive down to essex and pick my boat up the forecast is for wind, snow and rain, as in the words of victor melldrew........i dont bloody believeeeee itttttttt.........six wheel trailer 21 foot of arvor sitting on it, all hooked to the back of my merc vito, should be a right bundle of laughs.....NOT!!!!!

sure am, but will be quite slowly, i remember bringing shadey back from south west ireland, when some of them artics pass you crap yourself, am heading down tomorrow afternoon, travelodge in basilsdon tomorow night and collect the boat about lunchtime sunday, then a long slow ride home hopefully the roads will be quiet, if me and the boat get home in one piece i will post some pics on monday of it sitting on my drive.......the nieghbours will hate me again

that last one I brought up from pompey was a nightmare, anything over 40mph and it snaked about like buggery, 40 being the perfect speed for artics to go hammering past just to make it even more interesting!

northerlies as well over the weekend, just to nack the fuel consumption even more

whimp, you want to see the size of the boats they trail around in South Africa and the distances they travel. They may not have snow, but they certainly have rough terrain to cover, just get on with it and stop moaning. Any chance of a trip out when you get here Bob.
