Just off Amble Today

After a Mid Day start just off Amble Harbour straight into Codling about 1.5lb - 3lb but only briefly when we were over deep water. Kept returning to the same spot and same again. In between we're loads of small tommies and coalies all were taking day lights/feathers. I was using Hoki and they didnt do as well as the feathers. Soon as slack water came the fish went off. Overall from about 12.45pm-3.45pm about 15 size codling and god knows how many small fish. No mackerel though

Funny that Andy we were out this morning and had most of our fish around the low water period on hokkia's, shad's and jellies about a mile south of the coquet. But like you said loads of small tommies around 1/2 to 1lb, and some decent fresh run fish from 2- 4lb,well done mate.
