What is the difference if any in the old models and the new models of these lads? I know they look slightly different and I think they have different guides? Thanks

ya best of asking in the shop . i know the new pics all have the kwag or k guides and i have the metal banded one too but mines got the bnhg rings i think. good luck .

Aye I've seen some with the k guides and some with the bnhg guides as well

I found the metal band versions of both rods with the bnhg s much stiffer than the new k guided ones

Ah right, thanks Phil. I'm in 2 mins whether to buy brand new or second hand, wanting a kompressor ss.

Depends what you want it for mate but every old one I have had is def stiffer than the new ones I think the k guided ss is very soft in the tip

All purpose really mate pier/river/beach/rock marks. Really dunno what to do though, I'm sure on sport or super sport either. Think the super sport would be best for me

A s isn't any good for really heavy ground mate the ss should cope more
