there was a c curve snapped at UKSF yesterday, wasnt down to bad casting style, think he was only on the 150g, snapped in the butt section, now a v curve

Are you sure there rated to 200g lol

I wouldn't rate them at all, for a rod to snap in the butt something is seriously wrong, its a good job they have shrink tubing on or might of seriously injured him

Very dangerous lucky a caster has shrink tube on I was not stating there are prone to snapping just not suitable for 200g leads and big baits

I bet it broke just above the casters top hand.... its common sense really. The rod is too soft for top casters. Its trying to bend right down the butt but your top hand is creating a flat spot ....bet im right.:O:O

it was gary dickerson who snapped the c curve yesterday, also heard of TT's and J curves snapping.. i believe andy copping was casting a c curve at one point as there was a video of him using one i bet thats in rod heaven anarl

How can I be arrogant when your wrong if I don't know by first hand experience I don't comment your the one arguing your point when you have never had the rod so how can you say what it will and won't do?

yeah your right Stevie, it was above his top hand, i was surprised to see Gary casting a c curve but there was a few using them, some nice cuts on his arm of the line.

Well lads after taking all comments on board and all the bickering lol I decided f@@k it and bought a TT lol. and after reading a c curve snapped for someone I'm happy I bought the TT.

TT's have also snapped lol but... any rod can snap
