yeah your right Stevie, it was above his top hand, i was surprised to see Gary casting a c curve but there was a few using them, some nice cuts on his arm of the line.
Well lads after taking all comments on board and all the bickering lol I decided f@@k it and bought a TTlol. and after reading a c curve snapped for someone I'm happy I bought the TT.
Hope jase doesn't mind me hi-jacking his thread. Similar question for me - need a rough ground rod for the rock fishing around Craster, Amble etc. NETS recommended me the Century Eliminator or the Excalibur TTR (?) but I'm thinking that they'll be too powerful for me.
Looking for a good, lightish rod for the heavy ground that will be decent to cast with a F/S with an overhead thump. Budget within reason not an issue. Casting wise I'm average I reckon - can hit about 160-170 on the field with a Yuki Q7.
Any recommendations?
Best off having a feel/hold of a few to see what you think, I would take a look at the harrison torrix P3 personally...Mine always gets preference over my zziplex & century
Have looked for them after reading something else on here but they seem pretty hard to track down. I'll do some more googling.
Reelsport in south shields sells them and i think Fishfingers builds them also
Dont think I've come across someone as arrogant as you PP
He's a real nice bloke that pighunter, genuinely nice bloke as much as he has my fecking life sometimes lol
