Les Miserables

Our punishment before getting a holiday, is a day of auditions for Les Miserables which Kayos will be performing in March.

We have 46 young people in the company and some are auditioning for more than one role, so all in all Lynn and I have to sit through 93 auditions tomorrow. 8 straight hours!

Mind you I just have to listen and take notes, Lynn has to play accompaniment too!

Even with double casting, we will have a lot of disappointed young people who won't be particularly satisfied with just being in the chorus.

Second time I have directed the show, first time for Lynn. Here's a few photos of 6 years ago, in the days before I met Lynn and had to pay full whack for a Musical Director

It's French for "The Glums"........................No need to go all the way to France, I can easily blank in Hartlepool Chris !

He get 10 years in the jail for stealing a pork pie, escapes and becomes Mayor of Hartlepool, Javert tracks him down, they fight, Javert loses and chucks himself off the Tyne bridge!
